Mariflor Arthur & Théo 2011 - Rolland Collection

Mariflor Arthur & Théo 2011 Mendoza Argentina

70 % Malbec / 30% Syrah

LIMITED EDITION / ICONIC cuvée

A blend of Malbec and Syrah in varying proportions, this 2011 vintage contains 70% Malbec and 30% Syrah.

Aromas of spices and pepper mingled with black fruit compote notes make for a delicious and intense wine.

Rich and well-balanced on the palate, with controlled power and high-quality tannins.

A dense, harmonious wine with excellent ageing potential.

Michel Rolland

With the best Mariflor grapes, such as the Camille cuvée, selected from the vineyard for their purity and quality of taste, the idea of a Syrah and Malbec co-fermentation was born. Like our twins Arthur and Théo conceived in an egg, two varieties that ferment together in the same barrel. Two very different grape varieties on the ampelological level but whose cultivation and organoleptic characteristics – ripe grapes and aging potential – allow a harmonious and original blend. An idea, an emotional parallel, taste and love for both, born in 2010, a great inspiring year to carry out this project for the first time.
