Mariflor Malbec 2019 - Rolland Collection

Mariflor Malbec 2019 Mendoza Argentina

100% Malbec

“A beautiful, mouthfilling and charming wine…”

Dark, brilliant, deep black colour.

The black fruit nose is intense and spicy with prominent smoky and oaky notes.

Well-structured and silky on the palate, with well-balanced tannins and acidity that follow through to the long finish.

A beautiful, mouthfilling and charming wine, which is perfectly suited to a wide range of dishes.

Michel Rolland

Michel and Dany Rolland decided in 2009 to make the first “Mariflor Malbec”, the first vines planted in 1999 and next years, beginning to give grapes worthy of a cuvée of this emblematic grape-variety and the French oenologists knew its evolution and consecration for 20 years in Argentina (in Yacochuya and Val de Flores).

Grapes with beautiful maturity, after double sorting, are vinified by gravity in small concrete tanks, temperatures’ control, manual punching, without pumping and with a lot of respect. Malolactic fermentation in new barrels of one year and ageing during 15 months.
