Val de Flores 2018 - Rolland Collection

Val de Flores 2018 Mendoza Argentina

100% Malbec

The most successful vintage in Argentina.

An outstanding year in terms of the weather. Out of the 31 vintages I had the chance to taste in this country, this one was the most interesting.

Dark crimson colour with deep purple highlights.

The nose is bursting with black fruit aromas of blackberry, accompanied by complex red fruit notes along with hints of vanilla and toast.

Well-balanced, powerful and silky-smooth on the palate, this wine is also intense and concentrated, with plenty of rich tannin and no signs of harshness.

All in all, a powerful, charming and indestructible wine, enjoyable within the next 30 years.

Pretty aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, brambleberries, chocolate, nutmeg and dried flowers. It’s full-bodied with firm, seamless tannins. Excellent texture. Dense and compact with a blue-fruited finish. Big wine. 16% alcohol. Drink after 2024.
